Lay-By Terms and Conditions

iCell Gadgets Lay-By Terms and Conditions

Eligibility: The iCell Gadgets lay-by program is available to all customers, with no credit checks required. Customers must be 18 years or older to enter a lay-by agreement.
Deposit: A non-negotiable deposit of 10-20% of the item’s purchase price is required to secure the lay-by. The deposit must be paid at the time of initiating the lay-by, either in-store (Windhoek, Ongwediva, Otjiwarongo, Walvis Bay, Rundu, or Katima Mulilo) or online at icellgadgetsnamibia.com.
Payment Plan:

The remaining balance is payable in regular installments over a period of 3 to 7 months, as agreed upon at the time of purchase. Customers may choose weekly or monthly payments, made via in-store visits, online transfers, or direct bank payments.

No interest or additional fees will be charged, provided payments are made on time.

Payment Schedule: Customers must adhere to the agreed payment schedule. Late payments may result in additional fees or cancellation of the lay-by agreement, as outlined below.
Cancellation and Refunds:

If a customer cancels the lay-by before completion, 70% of the paid deposit and partial payments may be refunded, subject to iCell Gadgets’ discretion and applicable Namibian consumer laws.
Non-payment for 30 consecutive days may result in cancellation Bacteria of the lay-by, with the customer forfeiting the deposit and any payments made, unless otherwise agreed.

Stock Reservation:

iCell Gadgets will reserve the selected item for the duration of the lay-by period, subject to stock availability. Customers are advised to confirm availability with our team at the time of initiating the lay-by.
If an item becomes unavailable during the lay-by period, iCell Gadgets will offer a comparable alternative or a full refund of payments made.

Collection or Delivery:

The item will be available for collection or delivery (if applicable) once the final payment is received and the balance is fully paid.
Customers must collect their item within 14 days of final payment, or additional storage fees may apply.

Warranty:

Products purchased through the lay-by program are subject to the same warranty terms as standard purchases. Customers should inquire about warranty details at the time of initiating the lay-by.

Trade-In Program:

Customers may opt to trade in an old device to offset the cost of the lay-by purchase. The trade-in value will be determined by iCell Gadgets at the time of evaluation.
